When migrating to Australia from most countries and/or your native language is not english, then you are required to sit for an IELTS exam.
IELTS is the International English Language Testing System which tests your English capability.
The test has two versions : Academic and General Training, when my husband and I migrated we opted for the General Training version, as that was the requirement for our visa.
