Our first two weeks as Permanent Residents

We organised temporary accommodation for about 4 weeks before we arrived in Australia, along with an airport transfer to our accommodation.
During our first two weeks as permanent residents in Australia we:

Tried to find our way around our new suburb and city, with regard to using public transport;

Then got a mobile phone;
Got some groceries, coffee, sugar, [...]

After validating your visa

Now you have your passport in your hands, and would have opened to the visa stamp page quite a few times… Don’t wear out your passport before you can use it!
