St. George Bank, this is where I have my car loan, as they had a very competitive interest rate with good service.

Commonwealth Bank of Australia
ANZ Bank
Westpac
National Australia Bank
They have branches in all cities and large towns throughout the country and may have representation in your country, check on their website for the links above.

We opened our bank accounts at Commonwealth Bank by calling a tollfree number in our ex-country before arriving in Australia. When we arrived in Australia, all we had to was present our passports with our valid visa once we arrived in Australia, and made a deposit of $50! We still using our accounts today!!
